I have been blogging for a couple of years now and once in a while, I get invited to write for companies or other bloggers.
I focus on topics about heat and AC products and give tips to homeowners, I review different units including the air quality systems which have been popular over the past year because of the pandemic.
I was recently invited to a guest blog at one of the most successful HVAC brands. I was to write a blog post about any topic of my liking with regards to heat pumps. Before writing the article, we were catching up with the a/c representative at the company and we reminisced about our experience as cooling workmen. We had interned at one of the companies and had been tasked with all sorts of responsibilities from installing systems to doing air duct cleaning and this is where our love for blogging about thesis systems grew. This company that had contracted me was launching a new ductless HVAC and needed me to write about it. The blog post garnered a lot of interaction from homeowners to HVAC suppliers to local contractors. There was a debate on Twitter about the post which highlighted these units and the new whole home air purification units. The company was impressed with the blog which brought awareness to the website and ideally to the company. They later received a lot of air conditioning maintenance customers which ensured that the a/c workers had work. Someone joked that blogging about these systems had made me an air conditioning expert and in a way, I agreed with them. From then on I got a lot of invitations from other bloggers.
