Our Aunt Flo visits us once a year while in the summer; Aunt Flo is quite outspoken, especially when it comes to his personal comfort, but he always lets us know if the water furnace settings aren’t to his liking or if my great friend and I keep the condo too cool.
My pal and I have never been able to settle our differences about the temperature setting of the central air conditioning system.
My pal and I have a pet that is a shepherd husky mix, which means he has a double layer of fur. My pal and I consider him an important member of our family, plus keeping the air conditioning system set to a comfortable temperature for him is important. So when Aunt Flo is visiting, he can complain all he wants to that the temperature control is set too low because our pet’s needs are important too. If he spends a lot of time kneeling on the air register, for example, my great friend and I can tell that he’s too hot… Last Summer my great friend and I lost power while in a heat wave plus our bad pet was undoubtedly uncomfortable, but not Aunt Flo – he thought that the condo temperature was just right, however when the power plus the air conditioning system came back on, his complaining started all over again, however once he tried to convince us that air conditioner isn’t great for pets plus that their panting is enough to cool them down, then but our vet told us that panting essentially does nothing if the air is too hot or humid. She said that if a pet gets boiling, it can lead to heat stress plus exhaustion. My pal and I have finally settled on a compromise with Aunt Flo. My pal and I now keep the air conditioning system set at 70 degrees while in his visits. But the minute that he leaves, my great friend and I rush to the temperature control to lower the setting to our pet’s favorite temperature.
