I am what is known as a part time or seasonal independent heating and air conditioner tech.
I have my authorized certification as a heating and a/c specialist, but I chose to not take it on as a career and ended up doing something different.
However, what I did choose to do was to work part time as a seasonal independent heating and air conditioner specialist at a small local heating and cooling corporation during the Summer time months of the year only since I absolutely work as a lecturer the rest of the time for my primary career. My good friend Ed and I have off in the Summer the same as the kids do, so this would be a perfect time to make some better and extra cash while I am not working for those 3 to 4 months each year. I do absolutely make pretty good cash and have consistent clients for my heating and cooling system maintenance service while in the Summer time months that I do work as an independent heating and air conditioner specialist… Lots of heating and a/c breakdowns and the other heating and air conditioner companies can get so busy that folks need emergency heating and air conditioner condo services that they can not provide. So instead they call me and Ed to give them the emergency heating and air conditioner condo services that they require when their central heating and cooling system component breaks down in the middle of a brutal heat wave while in the super tepid Summer time months of the year!
