I really don’t like the fact that I’m so busy that I can’t seem to make any headway.
For a single, I’m forever inside the zone controlled HVAC of the offices these days.
There seems to be a single crisis after another and we’re still not back to our pre-pandemic staffing levels. So that means a lot of late afternoons inside that zone controlled HVAC. Then you throw in the family and household responsibilities and I’m really feeling as though I’m running in circles. I particularly don’t mean to complain as I guess there are so more than 2 people that would like to have the sort of life I’m able to lead. Still though, I’d like to be able to have a minute to myself in the of our home to simply just be. My partner feels the same way. Both of us keep making plans for date night but they keep falling through. The best we’ve done is having a glass of wine together inside the quality heating and air while preparing breakfast. That’s just not nice enough. On top of that, I’m not taking care of stuff like the HVAC chores. I just went several months without changing out the HVAC air filter in our home. That’s not nice at all. The HVAC air filter needs to be changed on a daily basis. Leaving a blocked and dirty HVAC air filter in for months puts stress on the HVAC unit. At least I signed up for the HVAC maintenance system so I’m not forgetting to call for an HVAC maintenance appointment. The HVAC contractor sees to scheduling the HVAC maintenance so that’s at least a single thing off of our list.
