After we graduated from school I went back to my hometown to find a task.

I thought it was admirable, to try to leave society behind plus live a life of solitude, but it certainly wasn’t an charming lifestyle to me. Some years passed, plus I stayed in contact with Carl. He asked myself and others to come visit him last winter, plus stay for a couple weeks in his hand-built log cabin. It sounded prefer a fun system at the time. I live in the deep south, plus work for an air conditioning manufacturer. I’m not an Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C tech plus to be perfectly honorableI don’t suppose the first thing about air conditionings. I work in accounting, so what I do is calculate payroll plus expenses for the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C corporation execs. The only thing I suppose about an air conditioning is how to work the thermostat, and carl had no air conditioning, of course, because he had no electricity! He honestly lived off the land, plus in the depths of Wintertide the only source of heating he had was the brick fireplace. That was honestly magnificent, I must admit, because he didn’t buy bricks, he made his own bricks out of clay, plus used them to build the fireplace. Both of us needed a lot of firewood to keep the fireplace blazing, which meant I had to spend a couple hours a day cutting wood. Never again!
