I don’t like the way that it feels so hot and stuffy in the house whenever I have the furnace turned up.
So many of my friends and family have complained about how cold I keep it in my house. I have finally come up with a new plan. I now have a bin that’s full of guest slippers and sweaters that people can use whenever they come over to my house to visit. I started to think that maybe I wasn’t being a very good hostess because everyone always seemed to be so cold in my house all the time. I didn’t like seeing my guests shivering and feeling cold all the time. They would act like they were freezing and during the winter, people in the small group that I host once a week would squeeze in next to the gas log fireplace just to try and get warm. It would make me laugh a little bit just because I don’t ever feel cold in my house. I’m always hot and so I hardly ever have the heating turned up in my house very much. I don’t like the way that it feels so hot and stuffy in the house whenever I have the furnace turned up. My husband and I are both pretty hot natured, and so we don’t end up with high heating bills during the winter, that’s for sure. However, when you host as many gatherings as we do, you have to start thinking about the people that you are dealing with as your visitors. That’s what happened to me, anyway. Now that I have this bin full of guest slippers and sweaters, I know that everyone will be much happier and warmer in my house!
