I actually have the day off tomorrow so I am going to be going out to shop for a new thermostat. I hate shopping, but this is one of those things that is a necessary evil. Even though I don’t want to go out and look for a new thermostat, I am just going to have to go and do it. I hate the thought of spending most of my day off trying to find something like a thermostat instead of shopping for something fun like shoes or new clothes or jewelry. However, finding a thermostat is something that is just going to have to be done, like it or not. Whenever I first started to notice that there was something wrong with the HVAC system, I thought that there was just something going on with the heating system. I thought that my furnace was breaking down or something. That didn’t turn out to be the case at all, though. My furnace was just fine. The issue actually turned out to be something else altogether. The problem was the thermostat and not the furnace. Once I figured out that it was the thermostat, I decided that I would go and choose the replacement thermostat unit myself instead of letting the HVAC company just bring one out to the house. Once I figure out what I actually want to get, I will call and make an appointment with the HVAC company to have them come out to install it for me. I want to choose the type of thermostat that I want, but I certainly don’t trust myself to install it myself!
