I am a person that has been in the service industry for the past 25 years.
I worked for a very prosperous HVAC company for 15 years and then I started my own company.
In the beginning, it was hard to make a path for my HVAC company. I wanted to be different and I wanted my business name to stand out in the community. I quickly learned the importance of professional service and quality HVAC services. I urge all of my employees to treat our customers like they are your brothers, mothers, sisters, and fathers. I urge my employees to respect every single customer in all situations. I think it is a very important part of customer service to be respectful. A couple of weeks ago, I was in the grocery store buying some milk, bread, eggs, and butter. I was a little upset that the bakery didn’t have any sourdough bread. The bakery had plenty of different options like challah, french, and Italian bread, but I really wanted sourdough for the beer cheese soup I was making for dinner. I decided to talk to the bakery manager. I politely asked if there was any sourdough in the freezer. I didn’t mind taking home a loaf to thaw. The manager became very rude and discourteous and she practically told me to leave the store if I was unhappy with the selection. I was absolutely and totally surprised by the attitude of the manager. That is absolutely the last time that I will ever step foot in that grocery store after the terrible service I received.
