After 6 long months, his girlfriend Patience was coming home. She’d been away studying for a short course, and Luther was so proud of her. The training would make it easy for her to seek grant money for her project at the university she worked at. She and Luther spoke every night, but it wasn’t the same. Patience was the love of his life, and he wanted her close to him to love and treasure always. The day before her arrival, Luther woke up feeling chilly, which was odd since he’d left the furnace working. He checked the vent and felt the furnace system was blowing cool air into the house. Luther didn’t want cool air in the middle of winter and had to grab a coat. After he was warm, he tried to figure out why the furnace system was blowing cool air. But, since he isn’t an HVAC professional, Luther was at a loss. He opted to contact the HVAC company near him for assistance. Since he had a service and repair agreement with them, Luther didn’t need to wait hours for a furnace expert to come to his home. The lady who showed up checked the unit and noted the air filter hadn’t been changed in some time. Luther had been so distracted that he never contacted the HVAC company to come and service the furnace system before winter. Thankfully, he had noticed the issue with the furnace system early, and there wasn’t any damage to the unit. All the expert had to do was switch the air filter, and it was working well once more.
