One of the new guys was sick with covid in addition to someone had to cover the weekend nights, and my boss had plans to go out of neighborhood in addition to he even offered to pay myself and others extra. I told our boss it wasn’t necessary, because I was going to be paid extra anyways for being the on-call repair worker, and there were a couple of calls throughout the weekend in addition to I handled everything separate from any troubles. I had a stack of invoices to deliver to our boss in addition to the repairs totaled more than $2000. On Monday afternoon I gave all of the invoices to the boss in addition to he presented myself and others with a $250 Visa gift card, however he told myself and others that the extra currency was a thank you for being there on the weekend when there was no one else to work. I thought it was a nice gesture in addition to I didn’t say no.
