Since my husband is such a well known guy around town, he’s constantly getting things at a good price from people that know him and like him.
- It’s funny whenever we go out for dinner or to the movies because it never fails that two or three people from the community stop and talk to my husband about their heating and cooling problems that they are having at their houses.
It’s funny because my husband usually rolls his eyes when he sees someone coming over to talk to him, but I know for a fact that he enjoys his bit of small town celebrity as the best HVAC technician in the area. Once in a while, we will get moved ahead on the seating list at our favorite restaurant. Sometimes we get into the movies for free and a few months ago, my husband got an amazing deal on his new car because he had put in a new furnace system in the car salesman’s house the week before. I always think that it’s interesting that people will give him a good deal just because they know him from their HVAC needs. I mean, he really does do a great job when it comes to heating and cooling systems, but he doesn’t know why people love him so much. He’s pretty personable, though, so I think that’s why. He’s always getting free stuff and it turns out to be a pretty good deal for us, that’s for sure. I love the fact that we get free stuff all the time. And if all he has to do is give out some free heating and cooling advice once in a while, I will take that trade any time. He loves to talk about HVAC stuff anyway!
