Both of us took a nice look at the real estate market and decided that it just wasn’t feasible to buy a beach home now.
Both of us like the arena we live and have owned this home for almost 15 years.
But it has become actually necessary that we have home offices for most people. There wasn’t much peace inside the quality heating and air of our home. Our daughters simply could not coexist living in the same room any longer. And with the prospect of getting a greater home dashed, we had a single option. So we added on to the home that we love. It made more sense to add value to this beach home rather than try to buy another a single. And the new addition is for our partner and I. Plus, it comes with it’s actually own heating and cooling equipment. The HVAC professional told us that adding that much volume to the existing HVAC equipment would overload it. And it was far to young to be replaced. That meant that we went with the ductless heat pump inside the new addition. I was a bit distraught that the ductless heat pump wouldn’t be enough. There are times, in the winter, when the heat pump seems a bit overmatched. But that was so not the case with the ductless heat pump. It gets the heating and cooling job done no matter the season. But it also comes with a remote control control unit so we can adjust the heating and cooling from bed if we want to. Now, the women have their own rooms and we have a master suite with a ductless heat pump.
