Soaking up the Air Conditioning after a Fishing Tournament

I’m a recreational fisherman, and 1 of our preferred activities is participating in fishing tournaments, and fishing tournaments come in all shapes, sizes, and colors; usually the tournament fees benefit a non-profit organization, and the tournament will stipulate the species of fish that anglers should pursue.

  • When I’m enrolled in a tournament, I’m usually staying at our river house.

While most of the houses around it are lavish, this home has been in our family for generations, and it is humble and cozy. Since fishing tournaments usually take locale in the summer, it’s integral that our homey river cottage is well-cooled and ventilated once our day on the water is complete. While the home was originally built with no cooling system (I have lots of respect for our great-Grandfatherrents!), our Grandfatherrents installed window units in the 1972s. The window cooling system units served our family well for some time; our parents even replaced a few of them with updated models when I was a teenager, which entirely improved the situation, but, once the current home was completely under our purview, I decided that I was done enduring the hotspots that the window cooling system units missed; I hired a local Heating plus A/C contractor to install a full Heating plus A/C idea in the river house. It was a 1-stop shop; the Heating plus A/C professional asked me about our needs, and I was completely in control of the cooling unit that was installed in the house. They installed vents exactly where I wanted them (there was 1 directly above our spot on the couch!) and the return and air filter were localed in a unquestionably convenient location. While I more than respect our Grandfatherrents’ decision to take the plunge and install window cooling system units in the 1972s, I decided that I needed to bring our home into the 21st Century, especially for our post-tournament comfort.
