I have seen a lot of dealers come and go over the years, and most of the modern suppliers don’t do well, which isn’t that surprising.
However, I have noticed a bit of a fad among those that end up failing are the ones that never make it online! For some odd known fact, a lot of older company owners just can’t seem to grasp that to live in a big city, and have a thriving business, they need to stop relying on word of mouth.
A lot of these older companies seem to guess that they can get away with never taking their company online. Well, those are the ones that almost always go out of business. There are some cases though. Sometime back, a modern Heating & A/C company had started up, and I heard the owner was trying the same plan of not doing digital advertising. I was already pondering that this modern Heating & A/C location was going to fail if the owner doesn’t change his mind, and I had enough nerve to inform him of this. He didn’t seem to know me at first, but eventually, he came around and I started seeing Google ads about their company. So, he finally got around to online advertising. When I went to talk to him about this, he told me about this good advertising company that offered their SEO services to him, and ever since he’s had their assistance, his company has been booming! Obviously he is one of the few suppliers that realize the importance of using online advertising businesses, and his Heating & A/C contractor will easily last a long time.
