My family and I went to the beach last summer.
We were eager to spend time together since it was the first time our family had gotten together for a trip in a long time. Upon returning from the beach, we discovered that the house was extremely hot and humid. Our first impression was that the air conditioning had been turned off, but when we adjusted the thermostat, nothing happened. The air conditioner was not functioning. When we informed the company that owned the vacation home we rented about our concerns about the temperature control, they immediately sent a technician to correct the issue. The repair would take a couple of hours to complete. We were all tired after a long day in the sun, and we did not want to remain in a hot, humid home. In order to recharge our batteries, we decided to go out for dinner. While we were returning from a diner where we enjoyed the air conditioning, the HVAC serviceman had just finished his work at our vacation home. Within fifteen minutes, the air conditioner was working again. Many thanks to the HVAC contractor who cooperated with us. The rental company was also cooperative. We were able to relax and feel comfortable in an air-conditioned space.
