Now that we are in the northern region of the country, close to the mountains, it is much colder, so heat is essential. In this entire town, air conditioning is not available, but climate change may force them to install some in the near future. Due to its location in the far north, not too far from the North Pole, this town rarely experiences hot weather, even in the middle of summer. Even though I’ve never been this far north before, I can’t imagine living in a place without beach volleyball. We are using a lot of heating during the day and night here and even have a big fire burning in the fireplace most of the time. I would love to come here for a visit every once in a while, and I may even bring my roommate up here if it works out that way. She just moved in with me recently, and she works as a heating and cooling technician in a store very close to me. I kind of like her, but I will let her make the moves.
