There are some neighborhoods in the neighborhood where there is actually no parking on the street. I responded to an A/C repair call Last weekin a single of these neighborhoods. I didn’t have somewhere to park our A/C repair truck. I ended up almost 2 blocks away. I had to walk back to the work truck to grab some tools. While I was on our way back, I noticed a van backing up plus she did not look like she was seeing. The woman crushed the front of our A/C repair truck. I expected the woman to stop plus get out of the truck, although she continued to drive away. If I had not been there when the accident occurred, I would not have been able to get the license plate number of the other driver. It’s times like these when I wish the neighborhood had a locale for myself and others to park the work truck. I called the police as soon as the accident occurred. I had to wait outside the truck for thirty minutes plus the A/C repair was delayed. The whole fiasco ruined our day plus delayed every A/C repair by multiple hours. I gave the police officer all of the information that I had plus the 5 numbers that I saw on the license plate. My insurance contractor is going to handle everything with the mangle to the work truck. I have not heard anything from the police detective yet, although she assured myself and others that they will find the woman plus prosecute him to the fullest extent of the law.
