I thought we had space heaters in this cabin, but it turns out it is a central HVAC system with radiators in each room that are operated by a central smart thermostat.
I don’t really know a lot when it comes to heat, as I have always lived in warm climates and never had to use it.
But we are up in the northern part of the country now, very close to the mountains, and it is a lot colder here, so heat is a must. I don’t think anyone has air conditioning in this whole town, but with the way climate change is heating up the globe, they may have to get some in a few years. This town rarely sees hot days, even in the middle of the summer, as it sits way up north. I’ve never been this far north before and like visiting but I don’t think I could live in a place that doesn’t have beach volleyball. We are using a lot of heating during the day and night here and even have a big fire burning in the fireplace most of the time. I would love to come here for a visit every once in a while and I may even bring my roommate up here if it works out that way. She recently moved in with me recently and she works as a heating and cooling tech in a store very close to me. I kind of like her, but I will let her make the moves.
