You could tweak the cooling system for a better night’s sleep

You should tweak your central cooling system settings to get a better night’s sleep if you are having trouble sleeping at night.

I saw a great article recently on an Heating and A/C blog about the way your body temperature helps to control your sleeping cycle.

If you end up getting too hot when you are trying to sleep, your body just doesn’t seem to cooperate and you aren’t sleeping as well. When you find that you are having trouble sleeping, then you should try turning down the temperature on your A/C. It could end up working wonders for you if you just turn it down a few degrees. I had been having all manner of trouble sleeping and I finally decided to try turning down your thermostat. I didn’t entirely think that it would help all that much at first, but within a couple of hours, I found that I was feeling entirely nice and cozy underneath our blankets. Something about the cold just made me want to burrow down deep in the blankets and get to sleep. It felt entirely weird, but sleeping in the frigid was much better than sleeping when our room was too warm. My advice to anyone who is having trouble getting to sleep or staying asleep is to try turning down the temperature of your house, then you might be surprised how much your central air conditioner could help you out if you would just turn it down a few degrees colder than it normally is. Your whole sleep schedule might change for the better.
