My HVAC company needed a big boost if I was going to continue growing and not fade into non-existence. Too many businesses had closed since the start of the pandemic, and I didn’t want my HvAC company to be the next. Everyone thought HVAC companies would get stronger because of all the people staying home, but people were afraid to let the HVAC technician into their homes. I needed to grow my HVAC company without getting face to face with my clients. My daughter told me I should get a website and connect it to social media. With online advertising through social media and have it connected to my website, I should be able to add more customers. I asked her if anyone would promise my business would pickup if I had a website, and she shook her head. She told me that just like my HVAC company, no one could promise that. We couldn’t promise our HVAC company would always be there for our clients, and the marketing company couldn’t promise I would get enough business to keep my company growing. She said that without creating a website, and advertising on social media, she could promise I wouldn’t be working much longer. I didn’t like the sound of this but she pointed my situation was already critical and I could only grow if I gave a professional website, and social media advertising a chance to do its job. I knew my daughter was smart because she was mine, and asked her to do the legwork and find an online marketing company who could do the work for us. That was a year ago, and I have already seen some growth in the HVAC company. It was a small growth, but it is only the beginning.
