I’m in a huge amount of pain at the moment and there is not a whole lot that I can do to make the pain go away.
The health professional prescribed me some pain pills, however they truly don’t help with all of the pain! I usually take three every 6 hours and rest for a couple of hours. I wake up in the same amount of pain that I always have. I burned my arm brutally. It happened last week when I was working on a commercial boiler. It’s possible that I wasn’t paying close enough attention, however the boiler burnt me truly badly. I had to go to the emergency room and I was in the hospital for roughly 3 afternoons. The burns on my arm will be there for weeks. I have to always go back to the healthcare worker so they can remove the bandages and take a look at the wound. I cannot work on commercial boiler repairs for any longer. I have PTSD flashbacks whenever I consider working on a boiler. I don’t really believe I will ever work on the Heating and Air Conditioning equipment in the street again after this accident occurred. My sibling has a diner and I could certainly go work with him. I never pictured myself working in the food industry to be honest, however it might be kind of similar to working in the kitchen. I worked in a pizza shop when I was a little one and I’m sure it’s not super different from working in a diner as an adult. At least I’m lucky to have another work position to go to. A good amount of people get hurt in this industry and they have no work or skills to fall back on after that. They typically end up homeless or living in the streets instead.
