This year for our anniversary, our spouse and I decided to go to a hotel for 2 days alone.
My mom and dad took all of the kids for the weekend. The kids went to their place and we locked up our place like Fort Knox. We drove into the town to stay at a hotel with absolutely nice amenities like an indoor pool, room service, and a jacuzzi tub. I was looking forward to our weekend away without the kids. My spouse was anxious to have all of our kids with our mom and dad for the whole weekend, and after I finally convinced my spouse that she was over worrying, we drove to the hotel. That man at the front desk was particularly nice and considerate, then when he found out that we were there to celebrate our anniversary, he upgraded our room to a suite! Unluckily, the room wasn’t everything that we hoped. The water glasses in the washroom were dirty, but that wasn’t the worst part about the room. The worst part was the fact that the wall A/C unit was disgusting. The wall A/C unit was filled with dirt, dust, and pet hair. I could see all of the gross, disgusting grime inside of the machine. I called the front desk to inform the guy about the condition of the A/C unit, but he promised to send a repair person to clean and we asked if they could wait until the next day when we’re going to be gone for the day.
