The summer heat is beating down and if it wasn’t for central AC as well as the wonders of residential HVAC, Andrew would have a hard time getting through the summer.

Frankly, this is for sure the toughest test of the year when it comes to the temperature.

Andrew finds it so challenging given that he spends much of his time outside in the elements. He is the owner of a vast landscaping design business. Majority of the year, Andrew finds it quite lovely being outside. The sun is shining, there’s blue sky and the temperature feels so wonderful all day. Even in the dead of the mild winter, Andrew can’t complain. He does wake up to some HVAC heating happening in the beach house just to knock the chill out of it. But that happens once in a while. Andrew starts his mornings in long sleeves and a hoodie then quickly moves into shedding layers once the sun hits its zenith. So, he’s definitely not complaining because he does get a whole lot more perfect weather than challenging weather. That said, air conditioning at home is a high priority for Andrew during the summer. Work must start super early so he gets the physical work done with his crew and can go indoors when it gets too hot. Then, it’s back to the HVAC cooling of his office at home to finish up the paperwork and details of the day. Trust me, Andrew wouldn’t change what he does for anything. Nor would he like to be in the zone controlled HVAC of an office building. Still, having the smart control equipment set the cooling just perfectly for when Andrew gets home is just essential.

Jamie and Shelly start super early so they can get the work end of things done and get their crew out of the peak of the hot day. Then, it’s back to the Heating, Ventilation and A/C cooling of their offices at home to finish up the paperwork and details of the day. Jamie and Shelly wouldn’t change what they do for anything. I was sure that 3 summertimes worth of extremely high cooling costs was enough.

That first summer time was one I couldn’t avoid.

When I relocated down here from the north, I knew that there was going to be a challenge when it came to temperature. That was evident the first morning I arrived in town. I got here in about mid June and kept the cooling unit on full blast just driving the moving van to my new destination. But then, when I got out of the vehicle and all that great cooling comfort, the heat and humidity hit me like a wall. It’s like stepping out into what I’d imagine an equatorial temperature would be like without the sea breeze. The heat is extreme but then is followed up with a humidity level that leverages that high temperature into straight agony. Therefore, that first summertime, I had no other choice at hand than to lean on the control unit. And lean on the control unit I did. To the point that my cooling expenses were almost the same as the heating costs I had just left behind. However, the second and third summers needed better planning. I just didn’t want the heat of summertime. The method seemed to be to just stay inside with the central cooling maxing out for several months. Then, the best 8 months of weather that followed. This year, I opted to seal up the house, stopped direct sunlight heating with drapes and no more leaning on the control unit. It’s the end of June and the first full month of summertime utility bills is in. This is saving me a staggering amount of cooling and I’m enjoying my summertime as well.

Eleanor was sure that 3 summer’s worth of excessive cost was all she had to endure.

That first summer time wasn’t going to be any other way. When Eleanor moved to the coast from the north, she knew that there was going to be a real change since it tends to be hotter. That was obvious when she arrived at her new home city. Eleanor moved in early July and she had the AC on full blast just driving the moving van once every one of us got close to her endpoint. But then, when Eleanor got off the truck leaving all the superb AC comfort, the heat and humidity smacked her on the face. She thought of the feeling of living in an equatorial weather area that never gets any sea breeze. The heat was so high and was followed up with a humidity level that leverages that high temperature into straight misery. So that first summer, Eleanor was unsure of what else to do than adjust the control unit. Eleanor kept leaning on the control component all summer. This was why the AC was mirroring the Heating & A/C heating costs that Eleanor just left behind. She knew things had to change for the coming summers. Eleanor just didn’t want to endure heat conditions in the heat of summer. She seemed to just stay indoors with the central system all summer. Then, she would enjoy the best months of good weather that followed. So that first summer, Tom just didn’t know what else to do than lean on the thermostat. And lean on the thermostat he did. To the point that Tom’s air conditioner bill was the same as the Heating and A/C heating costs that he just left behind. When the second, third and fourth summer came, Tom just didn’t want to acclimate to the heat of summer. The plan seemed to be to just stay inside with the central air conditioner maxing out for the entire period. Then, he’d enjoy the best 8 months of weather that followed. This year, Tom sealed up the house, stopped direct sunshine heating with drapes. As a result, there’s no more leaning on the thermostat. It’s the end of June and the first full month of Summer utility bills is in. Tom is saving a staggering amount on Heating and A/C cooling and is starting to love summer in his new home.

I’m not such a major meat eater and haven’t been for the longest time, but I still love going for some sausage or a hamburger now and then.

I suppose I eat red meat once or twice a week but I don’t eat a lot when I do choose to eat it.

I am going to have numerous sausages with some eggs and toast before leaving the residence. My Grandfather used to eat sausage on a regular basis and he would pour the sausage grease over his grits for intense flavor. He was a Heating & Air Conditioning equipment repairman and liked to eat a sustainable breakfast before going to do my work so he could actually keep working till later in the afternoon before getting too hungry. I don’t pour the sausage grease on my grits when I eat them however maybe I should because it absolutely adds flavor to the somewhat bland grits. My gramps used to bring home Heating & Air Conditioning machines to easily work on and would teach me the ins and outs of repairing the different machines. The people I was with and I also did a bunch of fishing as we had a residence right on the lake up in the mountains of NY state. I had my own boat and boating license when I was pretty young. I would help my gramps carry the heavy Heating & Air Conditioning machines into his workshop and we would spend a long time there working on them and just hanging out. I can still remember the musty smell of the workshop with the smell of ancient National Geographic magazines that he had in a sizable cabinet. He liked working on heating and cooling machines and teaching me about them.

I’m not the biggest meat eater plus haven’t been for a long time.

I still care about having some sausage or a hamburger every so often. I realize I eat red meat once or twice a month but I don’t eat in abundance when I do eat it.
