It was nice seeing family I hadn’t seen in a long while, but it was a concerned occasion. Still, both of us all had a large family supper together and both of us all said a few words for our Grandmother. On the flight back, I had to get on an adjoining flight. The initial flight was heavily delayed because there was a forest fire with heavy smoke in the airways. I was thrilled when both of us finally were going, but the adjoining flight was gone before I could reach it. I ended up getting a voucher to stay the evening in a hotel. The hotel was surprisingly nice with good air quality. I had the AC cranked in our room and got some room service. The food was nice and I was able to sleep absolutely and after that both of us was able to get our new flight early in the morning. When I finally got back home, I was so grateful to see our family again and take it simple for a little while.

Now that I live on the coast everything is quite the opposite, and the temps stay pretty mild throughout the year, while the humidity never takes a break.

My Grandmother is the village snoop.
