My home is perfect in every single way except for the temperatures.

I think it’s just the way that my heating and AC system is set up but I can never have perfect temperatures.

The heating system that I use is a bit different from your average person, I don’t have a gas furnace or some other kind of electric heating appliance. Instead I have a hot water boiler that I use to heat the majority of my appliances. Unfortunately, it didn’t do me any favors when it stopped working. When everything was working it was perfect and great. But once I started suffering from issues, that is when I knew I had a real problem on my hands. The temperature in my home would fluctuate like crazy. It would go from being really hot too much colder. It seems like no matter what I put on the thermostat the heating and AC would not respond to what I said it to and what it did just decide to be on whatever temperature it shows. I couldn’t take the issue for more than a couple of days and so I scheduled a heating and AC appointment almost immediately. I wanted nothing more than two be free of my malfunctioning heating and AC system. I wanted a normal boiler that worked as I expected it to. Fortunately, that is exactly what I got once the heating and AC repairman came out and took care of the problems the boiler was having. I still remember one time when my house had got to the max temperature of 95 degrees! Thankfully those hot memories are a thing of the past.

When my heating and AC guy came out to look at my air conditioning system I never expected to hear what he told me.

As of recently I’ve been having trouble getting my heating and cooling unit to come on and work properly.

It would come on and blow a tiny amount of cool air and then almost immediately shut right back off. I was concerned that my air conditioning system was going to die on me and I was going to need to replace it with a brand new one. It was money that I simply didn’t have and I just knew that I could not have a brand new one. So I was hoping and praying that it was anything but my air conditioner actually dying on me. I was so afraid of what I was going to hear that I put off having a heating and AC technician come out to service my heating and cooling system. When the HVAC worker arrived at my home he wasted no time going to look at my air conditioning system and told me what was causing the problem. I was very surprised when he told me he found the source of the issue in 5 minutes. According to him, the problem I was having was that the air conditioner was severely clogged with branches, dirt, and debris. He asked me when I had last had a heating and AC technician clean it out or take a look at it and I was embarrassed when I couldn’t answer. It was the buildup of all these things over time that made the clog so huge. Thankfully he was able to easily remove the clock and the price wasn’t nearly as painful as I expected it to be. Now I can enjoy working in the air conditioning system again. I don’t know what I would do without cool air.

The heating and cooling system really made the whole environment much more relaxing.

When it comes to going to the doctor I’ve always viewed it as one of those necessary evils. Maybe that sounds dramatic but I really don’t like going to the doctor. The whole fear of the unknown and barrage of uncomfortable questions makes my skin crawl. However when I broke my arm in a skateboarding accident I didn’t really have much of a choice but to have it taken care of. Believe it or not I considered it not going to the doctor even with my broken arm. This was after my girlfriend suggested that I could DIY a cast and my arm and it would heal on its own. We tried this but after a few days the pain was just too bad for me and I had to go and get it taken care of. I was worried the entire time but to my pleasant surprise when I arrived there they had the perfect air conditioning system. The heating and cooling system really made the whole environment much more relaxing. I was used to being in a hot and heated climate but inside the office the air was cool and slightly humid. It was just the way I like it and to top it off they had a TV in every room and you can watch whatever TV show you wanted! Before I knew it I had my arm wrapped up in a proper cast and was on my way home. I even kind of missed the heating in the AC system there. I don’t want to say I wish I could go back, but if I do have to go back I know I won’t mind it next time.

I’ve always loved to go and get my haircut. There’s just something special and fun about having a whole new hairstyle. However the last time I went to get my hair done I didn’t have the most pleasant experience. This was because the salon at the time had a commercial HVAC system that had stopped working. It may not seem like a big deal but to me the heating and cooling is what makes the whole experience. I’ve told my son as well as my friends this and they just don’t get it. They assume that the best part of the experience would be getting the hair done and getting us out you wanted and while I really enjoy that is the perfect heating and air conditioning that they have that I really come for. I only wish I could have an HVAC system that is as great as that commercial heating AC system they have in the building. So when it stopped working I was very disappointed. Some people couldn’t take the heat of the place without the air conditioner and walked out as a result. Thankfully, they called all of their customers one week later after the heating and cooling system was fixed. They had worked really hard to get an HVAC technician out to repair it as quickly as possible. When we returned you could tell there was a difference. The indoor air quality was much more clean and crisp and I got to sit in the chair and enjoy the cool indoor air. It was a very relaxing and soothing experience. I can’t wait to do it again sometime soon.

I have been looking to update my furnace and cooling system.

• My husband and I both have been planning this update for the past few months, when the HVAC technician told us our current one didn’t have that much life left in it.

Thankfully, my husband and I are in a comfortable spot financially to be able to afford a very nice furnace system and A/C system. Honestly, if we wanted to, we could easily go out and buy a HVAC machine today, but I am not the kind to rush into a big decision. I like to take my time and thoroughly research any options and what would be best for our home. Obviously you are not going to have a commercial HVAC component for a residential home. Anyways, my husband and I have decided on a mini split ductless system. Our ductwork is pretty damaged, and since it would cost a fortune to have it replaced, we just decided to go with the ductless A/C route. It was tough because geothermal heat pumps looked pretty cool, but some of the cons were concerning. I even talked with a HVAC professional, and they told me a ductless mini machine would be a better choice for our home. Now with all of that decided, we are hoping to have the new HVAC machine installed within the next week or two. I am really eagerly anticipating this new change, I feel it is going to make our house way more comfortable than before. Especially considering our old HVAC unit, it barely heats and cools our home.

For most of my life, I have had allergies.

I have tried multiple different solutions to fix this problem, but so far, I have not had any luck.

I live with my roommate, and I stay mostly in my room. However, my roommate tells me that he can hear me sneezing from a mile away, so I know it’s pretty bad. I probably sneeze at least 15-20 times a day, it’s crazy. I was prescribed allergy medicines by my doctor, but I had bad side effects and I would rather deal with the sneezing. I once heard of something called a whole air purification system, but one look at the price on those told me everything I needed to know, that I could never afford one. It was so hard knowing that whole home air purifiers were out there, but I couldn’t get one. Anyways, I was telling my friend about this, when he told me about portable air purification. I hadn’t thought of this, and I immediately got to researching. It turns out there are portable air cleaners, and price wise, they were much more doable. Even better than that, there were some portable air purifiers for sale at a nearby furnace and air conditioning store! On the same day, I drove to the location of the HVAC store and brought home the portable air purification. I placed it in my room, since I was there the most, and that seemed to do the trick. My sneezing dropped to only a few times a day, if that. The portable system is the perfect solution.

What do you do when you have a really stinky home? My house does not smell the best, not even close.

This is because of my wife’s experimental cooking. My wife has never been the best at cooking, but man she does try her best. In an attempt to improve her skills, she has tried cooking all kinds of, well let’s say unique meals. A lot of times these meals have a funky smell, and look might I add, and all of the crap goes up into the ductwork and gets stuck there. My wife also ends up burning some of the meals, so then you have this weird slightly burnt odor floating through the air. It’s really hard to explain, but it stinks regardless. I didn’t bring this up for a long time, because I didn’t want to discourage my wife. I know she was trying so hard, and I didn’t want to make her feel bad. However, the smells were getting worse it seemed. I tried using air fresheners, but that made it worse! The air freshener would only slightly mask the smell, but you could still smell this weird undertone, I hated it. For a minute it would smell like cinnamon apple, and then the next minute rotten apple. I eventually stopped by a heating and air conditioning store that was close. I was hoping this cooling store had what we were looking for, an air cleaner. I have heard good things about air purifiers, and I was hoping they could work their magic on our house. The A/C store had plenty in stock and I bought one and brought it home. I got it all set up, and after a few hours, I could definitely tell a difference. I think this was exactly what we needed.

For a long time, my house had a slight smell. I’m not really sure what it was from, because I would like to think that my family and I are not stinky people, but it does make me wonder sometimes. I know part of the smell is coming from my dog, as he isn’t the best smelling. But even when he is given a bath the smell still lingers, so I know it is more than just him. I have tried different tactics, one of the most obvious is air fresheners. Unfortunately, the air fresheners would end up backfiring, because instead of masking the smell it would instead mingle with the bad smell and create a really weird smell instead. I really hated smelling the weird mingled smell between good and bad, and I knew something had to be done. A good bud of mine, who loved to complain about our home’s bad smell, suggested getting a whole home air purification system. I thought this sounded like a great idea, until I looked at how much a whole home air cleaner actually costs. It turns out air purifiers can be quite expensive, but I felt like I was at the end of my rope when it came to our home’s smell. I sat down with my wife and we discussed options. We both decided to start saving up for the air purifier and hopefully that would put an end to our home’s smell. I have already planned out where we will buy the system and have it installed, there’s a nearby local HVAC company that offers those services.

When my boss told me that I was being sent out to a regular of ours, I wasn’t happy not in the least bit.

It’s a job for the most part I enjoy, especially considering that the routine is mostly the same, and I love having a predictable schedule. I was HVAC certified only a few years ago, and was hired into my current job quite fast. Anyways, while I do enjoy going out and fixing people’s heaters and A/C units, some people are just hard to be around. This guy was one of them. He was an older man, probably in his late 60s, and because he is bored, he likes to watch me while I work. Some people are naturally curious, and I don’t mind this at all. In fact, if given the chance, I will happily explain what I am doing to curious customers. This guy, however, seems to want to judge me instead. Oftentimes I will be working away inside of his air conditioner, and I can hear him snort and grumble under his breath. It makes it incredibly hard to focus, when I can feel his eyes burning into the back of my skull. I’ll ask him if he has any problem, and he’ll always reply that he has no issues, just watching. It’s really annoying, and I wish this guy would stop having us come out every month to do some unneeded work on his HVAC device. But now I am on my way driving to his place.

There are a lot of businesses that boast being fast, but seldom is that the case. A lot of the time I will be promised that the worker will be out here quickly, and then they are late. That’s assuming talking to the company’s representative didn’t take long either. Sometimes just talking to the customer service person takes awhile as well. I have very little patience for people who are late. So when I was looking to have my heating and air conditioner’s minor issues checked out, I prepared myself for a delay. However, the HVAC corporation picked up immediately, and I was greeted by a friendly HVAC technician. They weren’t busy, so I was able to have them come out today. The appointment was at 3:00, but I knew they wouldn’t be arriving until 3:30 if not 4:00. As usual the A/C company promised to be out there fast, but I had my doubts. Later on, I was watching TV when I heard a knock at the door. I glanced at the clock, it was 2:59. I couldn’t believe it, was the A/C technician? I went to the door and it was just a package, as I had figured. However, only a minute later, the real heating and cooling specialist arrived, on time. I was impressed and happy that for once I was going to be on schedule. The heating and cooling worker didn’t take long, fixed the minor issues, and was on his way. Overall, it took no more than 30 minutes. Finally, a business who actually keeps their promises.
