Drew was looking forward to the road trip with his brothers to the mountains.
This had become some sort of family vacation that they took each summer. But, the trip was two weeks away, and there was much work to complete by then. He runs a photography studio, and Drew had several clients to shoot before leaving. They’d be away for 2 weeks, and he didn’t want to leave any work pending since he found such matters distracting. This meant shooting all day and working on the pictures until late at night. One evening, Drew opted to go home early since he wasn’t feeling well and found that his AC had stopped. This must have been why he wanted to get home and rest for the day. The AC system had been overworking because the days were so hot in his area. But that had been a chart-topping day in terms of heat levels that he was sweating already. Drew didn’t want to leave his AC unit with issues when he went on the road trip. Since emergency AC repair costs an arm and a leg, he opted to book an appointment and hope the repair happened before he left. Thankfully, an AC worker called back, stating they’d have someone come to Drew’s home the next afternoon to repair the AC unit. Drew was over the moon and made sure he was at home on the day of the AC repair. In addition, he thought it would be best to have the same technician check his studio AC unit, so the same thing didn’t happen there.
