How did I become a pet owner? Well, pets have constantly been a part of my life, and ever since I was a kid, we had dogs, cats, and even birds in our home.
I grew up on a farm, and there was even one time my buddy and I had a pet chicken and pet rabbit. So, living with critters in my home isn’t new, however when I moved to the city, I had to let go of this preference for pets for a while. I lived in a no-pets allowed apartment, and so I opted to volunteer at the shelter. That way, I’d still give affection to pets even if I couldn’t have them in my home. After the pandemic hit, I felt the need to have critters in my life once more. So, I took that time to find a farm for sale where I could work remotely, and have lots of animals around. I bought a house in the north. Then, I brought home two cats and two dogs from the shelter where I was a volunteer. I wanted to make sure the home was in the best condition for us so I hired a HVAC company for assistance. I wanted them to install the best heating and cooling system for a home with lots of pets. Plus, I wanted air duct cleaning. It’s pressing to get respected duct cleaning when you have pets in your home. This is something I learned from my folks when we had pets growing up. The technician who came to do the work was amazing with my pets, and I was so happy they weren’t afraid of them.
