My stepmom got a new HVAC system a few months ago but opted for a cheap thermostat which doesn’t seem to be working very well. I asked her why she didn’t get a smart thermostat, a programmable one at that, and she said she didn’t know they existed and just picked a cheap one out instead. At least it isn’t one of those old dial ones that seems to shake a lot when you try to adjust it. The needle on it was so delicate that as soon as you touched the unit it would bobble all over the place, not showing you the correct temperature. So today, I am going to go to the local business which sells HVAC equipment and get my mom one of the best programmable wifi smart thermostats on the market. I will install it for her because I have some experience in doing so seeing that I was working for an HVAC company myself for several years. The HVAC tech who works there is really good with smart thermostats and I wanted to talk to him about which model is best before buying one. I don’t have much else going on today so it won’t be a big deal for me to spend a few hours getting my mom the right model for her HVAC system.
