I can do the radiant floor heater replacement myself!

I have looked into a heated flooring replacement & it doesn’t seem too difficult.

I started out very unhandy. When I obtained our house I could only paint & scrap. Now I am becoming quite talented with tools. I have mudded, added drywall & done some great tile work. I am impressed that I can chop & kneel tile, grout it & have a smooth finished product set up pretty quickly. I have been eyeing up our dining room for quite some time. The dining room has this dark brown rug that is just disgusting. I want to rip it up & put white tile down. It would make our dining room so much more modern. Since I am tearing up the floors anyways, I have been looking into radiant heated flooring. Apparently this is the best time to do it. I thought I might need to call a Heating, Ventilation, & advqancedA/C dealer. After watching some videos & studying articles, I guess I can do the replacement myself. It seems pretty easy. After I rip up the carpets & get down to the plywood, I just need to drill in our new cement board. After that the electric heated mats are placed on top. You basically kneel them down. It seems super self-explanatory & I would check our work before tiling over top afterwards. That is the bone-chilling part. Once I finished the heating replacement I would need to put some mastic on it, tile & after that I would then grout the finished product. If I made a big mistake, I would not be able to access that heated mat again.
