I truthfully don’t like installing window air conditioners, & I don’t love that our dad forces myself and others to install the window air conditioners in our condo every year.
- I don’t even recognize why people still have window air conditioners! Why do our parents still use a window air conditioner? My parents both have unbelievable jobs, & I recognize that they could afford to purchase a central air conditioner.
Still, even though they could have central air conditioners, they still use the window air conditioners that every one of us have owned for a long time. Now that I am older, I am the 1 in charge of installing the window air conditioners, & I don’t like it. The windows in our condo are super narrow & super old, so they have a hard time opening & closing. Furthermore, the windows are set pretty high in our house, & trying to balance the window air conditioners in the window is difficult. The window air conditioners are so heavy while I am trying to close the seasoned & swollen windows. It would be so much easier if 1 of our siblings would help myself and others install the window air conditioners, however none of them want to help myself and others install the window air conditioners, & our parents don’t want to force them to install the window air conditioners. They absolutely don’t have a problem with forcing myself and others to install the window air conditioners. I can’t wait until I get out of this condo so that I don’t have to install window air conditioners anymore. I will purchase a condo that has a central air conditioner so that I don’t have to worry about it.
