I keep on telling my husband that I’m not the one who is changing the thermostat settings in our house but he doesn’t seem to believe me for some reason.
But then on the other hand, I think that he’s the one who is changing the thermostat! I’ve been getting so mad at him over it that I’ve been yelling at him a lot more than normal, that’s for sure.
So both of us are getting really ticked off about the thermostat settings, but neither of us will admit that we are the one changing the temperature on the thermostat! It’s kind of crazy to be living in our house at this point. It’s been really rough this winter, but I’m beginning to think that maybe neither one of us are lying about it! I mean, that sounds crazy because I know for a fact that I’m not the one who is lying. I don’t know if he is, though, but he gets so annoyed at me whenever I say anything about him changing the thermostat that I’m beginning to believe him when he says that it’s not him. Maybe the thermostat is actually changing itself. My friend told me the other day that her smart thermostat started acting crazy whenever the power went out and that’s when she realized that the power surge had messed it up. She had to go in and completely reset the settings on the thermostat so that it started running correctly again. I think that might be the issue with ours. That would really make sense, but it will make us feel pretty stupid if that ends up being the case.
