We chose everything to suit our own tastes. So I thought everything was perfect with our relationship. But then it wasn’t. We were married for less than a year when I got a telegraph! He had left me! I guess he had plans to leave even before the wedding, although he had put a lot of money into the wedding. He was moving in with his girlfriend, and he wanted nothing to do with me at all anymore. He walked off and left me high and dry with all of our bills, even the ones that he hadn’t yet paid. I had a bill for the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C plan that was recently installed in the house, and he hadn’t made a single payment on it at all. The Heating, Ventilation plus A/C company called me. I wouldn’t have known about the bill. They asked for my fiance and I told them he had left me. When the HVAC accounts department said he hadn’t paid a penny on the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C bill, I was still shocked. I couldn’t believe what she was saying to me. He must have been planning this for a long time. I asked why they hadn’t called us before, and she said they had tried calling but the phone was not in service any more. He left me with every bill too! This included the payment on the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C system. I knew I was going to need to put the cabin on the market and sell it, but I also knew I had to pay for the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C bill, too. I never dreamed that would happen!
