My co-workers plus I have been complaining about the a/c in the chop room for the past 2 months.
The AC stopped laboring at the beginning of the summer.
It used to blow freezing air! Recently it seems to barely blow air colder than the indoor temperatures. At least it was laboring a little bit until the machine finally broke down in August. A few people have complained to the foreman about the problem. Every one of us got a letter in our paycheck from the foreman asking us to be patient while they wait for repairs. No a single did anything about the issue after more than one months. My co-workers plus I spend several hours at the plant while in our shift. While all of us are laboring all of us do not have any air conditioning. Every one of us have physically demanding tasks plus spend most of the day on our feet lugging heavy parts around the factory. The only time all of us get to relax in the cool air is when all of us are having lunch. Every one of us only get a single hour while in the day when all of us can relax plus put up our feet. It is not too much to ask the management team to repair the a/c complication in the chop room. I told the union representative that all of us should stage a strike plus not work a couple of nights in a row. When the bosses can’t meet quotes, they will be forced to make variations. The union rep told myself and others that all of us can’t pursue that route unless it is literally the only choice all of us have left on the table. I do not guess all of us should wait.
