LED lights help with energy saving

When I was asking the heating and A/C expert about energy saving tips, he thought about it for a moment, he seemed to be struggling like he was unsure of any energy saving tips.

Eventually though, his eyes lit up and he said we should update to a more energy efficient heating and A/C system! I said, “Really, that’s all you could come up with?” I mean obviously something that is more energy efficient is going to save energy! I was tempted to call him ‘Captain Obvious’ then he said it would be fine to go for a ductless mini split as those have a great SEER rating and are extremely energy efficient. Then as an afterthought, he said it would be fine to use LED bulbs in the house as well. I had to admit, that was a pretty fine energy saving tip, and I also liked the sound of the ductless mini split, especially when he told us how it has several zones with varying installations where we could have customized temperature control settings in our house, but my heating and A/C system was only 8 years old, and I wasn’t sure if we should just part with it in favor of an HVAC replacement. Then he mentioned that we could consistently sell the older HVAC system or they would take it and spend a certain amount of money to use it for parts. I decided to go that route and before I knew it, we had a new heating and A/C system installed. I just wanted lower yearly bills and the LED lights helped a lot too.
