My hotel had closed down for some reason

I found the rental agent quite elegant though there was a bit of a language barrier.

I was just going to see the island plus didn’t speak the local tongue.

The lady spoke a bit of English plus managed to rent me a little bungalow on the beach for a few afternoons. My hotel had been closed down indefinitely rendering my reservations useless. I was lucky to get any place on such short notice. The structure was on the edge of the sand, a hundred meters from the water. It had electricity, however shockingly came without a cooling system. Call me a respected entitled American, despite the fact that I just assumed any rental place I paid cash for would come with a cooling system. I was pretty steamed about a lack of cooling, however it occured to me with the cash I had saved from the hotel reservations, I’d just buy a small cooling component for the site. It turns out that a local hardware store sold a small, portable cooling unit, just enough to cool down a room at a time. It cost me a few hundred bucks, however that was actually the best cash I ever spent, because that cooling component was the best… As my trip winded up, I saw it fit to leave the cooling idea in the rental beach current home for the next people to use. It was really small plus portable, despite the fact that I still didn’t want to fuss with carrying a cooling component onto an airplane. My hope was the next tenants value the unit.
