My sister won a radio contest last month whenever she called in to answer some questions about one of her favorite bands.
- She was really surprised whenever she got through because the phone lines at the radio station were always busy.
She ended up knowing every single answer to the questions that the DJ asked on the quiz about this band that they were trying to promote. She says that she still doesn’t know how she did it, but I guess she’s just good at taking tests or something. I mean she knew a lot about the band, but she was really nervous and she thought that she would mess everything up but she didn’t. Well, the local HVAC company was the one who was sponsoring the contest and the prize that they were offering was a brand new HVAC system. I thought that was a pretty spectacular prize for a little radio show contest. My sister thought so too. She was so excited when she won this new HVAC system that she could barely contain herself. When I heard her on the radio, it sounded like she was about to cry when they told her what her prize was. She had been in great need of a new heating and cooling system for a while. Her old one was really on the verge of breaking down and those things are really expensive! She’s supposed to be having an install later on this week, and she’s super excited about it. I’m really happy for her. It’s about time one of us won something!
