I’ve really been going about this thing all wrong.
That’s what I’ve discovered when it comes to the Heating and A/C cooling where I live. I’m still sort of new to the region and fairly recently traded a gas heating system for the heat pump. I enjoyed living up north and the gas heating system sure did a good job of heating our lake house each winter. But those winters finally just wore myself and others down. I couldn’t keep dealing with all that snow and ice so I traded all the Heating and A/C heating for all this Heating and A/C cooling. However, I seemed to have traded the high cost of heating for the high cost of Heating and A/C cooling. There is a several month stretch from June through November where the heat is overwhelming. There is just no way to do without air conditioner comfort in a single’s home. And everyone has the heat pump going in the summer. But I recently l acquired that I was starting the Heating and A/C cooling far too soon. Normally, I have been flipping the temperature control over to Heating and A/C cooling once the temps start to climb in May. That has been my mistake. I recently l acquired from a native of the region to wait on the temperature control flip until later. This way, we allow our bodies to acweather conditions to the heat and the humidity. This makes quite a difference. Once the heat season is in full swing, I need much less Heating and A/C cooling to be comfortable in my house. A temperature control setting in the 69’s during the day goes a long way toward saving a ton of cash on Heating and A/C cooling costs.
