I’m not a crucial meat eater and haven’t been for a long time, however I still love to have some sausage or a hamburger now and then. I guess I eat red meat once or twice a week however I don’t eat a ton when I do eat it. I am going to have more than 2 sausage links with some eggs and toast. My Grandmother used to eat sausage every single day and she would pour the sausage grease over her grits for flavor. She was a Heating as well as A/C device worker and liked to eat a giant breakfast before going to work so she could work till later in the day before becoming overly hungry. I don’t pour the sausage grease on my grits when I eat them however possibly I should because it really adds flavor to the somewhat bland grits. My grandmother used to bring home Heating as well as A/C components to work on and would teach me the ins and outs of repairing everything. The two of us also did a lot of fishing as we had a lake household right on the lake up in the mountains of NY state. I had my own boat and boating license when I was merely 8 years old. I would help my grandmother carry the heavy Heating as well as A/C devices into her workshop and we would occasionally spend numerous hours in there toiling on them and just hanging out. I can still recall the musty stink of the workshop with the stink of seasoned National Geographic magazines that she had in an oversized cabinet. She liked toiling on heating and cooling devices and teaching me about them.
