Our next door neighbors have been residing in their lake house for the last 45 years. They have a furnace in their basement that is super old as well as super frightening looking. I have been down in their basement several times over the years to help out with moving things or finding stuff for community barbeques, and let myself and others tell you, I think that I would have a difficult time sleeping in that lake house knowing that their frightening looking furnace plan was lurking around down there in the basement! Anyway, the other night, the neighbors ended up having a easily frightening incident with that old furnace plan that honestly had nothing at all to do with how frightening the furnace plan honestly looked. Instead, it had to do with the fact that the furnace was so old that it malfunctioned as well as parts of the furnace casing started to melt down! My neighbor told us that she woke up as well as odored a unusual burning odor coming through the heating vents in their living room. She was uneasy because she had never odored that odor before. She ended up going down into the basement to check on the furnace component as well as that has when she saw that it looked love the furnace was somehow melting! She raced up the stairs, woke up her wife, as well as called the fire department. They were able to contain the problem before the lake house caught on fire, but the whole thing was easily frightening. Now, they have a new furnace plan that their Heating as well as A/C dealer installed as well as it is much newer as well as safer.
