Where we live, there is a good deal of Heating and A/C cooling going on.
That’s just the nature of the beast around these parts.
Our weather is pretty much outstanding for 8 months out of the year. But from June thru November, it’s brutal hot and not an self-explanatory place to enjoy. For many, the air conditioner gets kicked on toward the middle of May each year and doesn’t stop until nearly Thanksgiving. While that’s not quite the way we do it, I would say that we are in the minority. Yet, with that amount of air conditioner, you really want to have a reliable and efficient heat pump. We really have that in our heating and cooling equipment. When we built this house, Heating and A/C was a priority. Both my wife and I are natives so we think how to deal with the heat season. That said, we do still rely on air conditioner throughout the Summer to be comfortable. And air conditioner isn’t about comfort alone either. The Heating and A/C cooling process is also balancing the humidity levels in the house so we are mitigating mold & mildew as well. Being that we Heating and A/C efficiency is high on our list, we also chose to go with the most efficient and sustainable Heating and A/C equipment. Our house has a geothermal heat pump for heating and cooling. This Heating and A/C equipment, while a bit more overpriced upfront, provides so much savings when it comes to all that Heating and A/C cooling expense. We couldn’t be more satisfied with the way this has all turned out. The geo heat pump is remarkable and our Heating and A/C costs are minimal.
