My bestie & I came home from work on Wednesday & the A/C wasn’t working at all.
I called the maintenance supervisor immediately & proposed a repair appointment.
My bestie & I live in an cabin for these exact reasons. The average cost of an A/C repair is half as much as our bi-weekly rent; Living in an cabin means not having to pay for upscale repairs to the air conditioner or furnace. It also means not having to worry about yard work & Mowing & cleaning the yard. It is by far a single of the best perks of residing in an cabin instead of a house. Unfortunately, there are many other apartments in the building & periodically I have to wait many hours before a maintenance serviceman is available. I was genuinely happy to find out that someone was available immediately to work on the A/C repair, charlie showed up about an hour later with a box of tools. I told the guy that the A/C wasn’t working at all & the first thing he checked was the temperature control. The temperature control did not have anything flaunted on the screen, & that is a single of the reasons why I knew there was a concern with the air conditioner. Charlie went to the hockey cart downstairs & brought a brand new temperature control up to the apartment. He took the temperature control out of the box & wired it to the system. The new temperature control looked great. It had a 7 in digital display screen & many programmable options. I was pretty happy about the new temperature control, especially when I found out that it fixed the A/C concern as well.
