The people I was with and I were supposed to have band practice at college the other afternoon, but the janitor forgot to actually come in early and turn the air conditioning system on for us in the band room… You might think that turning on the air conditioning system in the band room is a simple enough task, however it would be, except for the fact that the band room is notoriously overheated and you have to have the air conditioning system turned on for hours before the room starts cooling down… That’s why she was supposed to go turn the air conditioning system on for us early, and however, when I arrived, the first thing I noticed was that she had forgotten to come in and do her task. The band room was super moderate and there was no way that all of us were going to be able to have practice inside, however unluckily for us, it was raining outside, and the temperature was easily moderate out there anyway… But I turned the air conditioning on as soon as I got there, although I knew that it would not begin cooling down until it was almost time for the practice to be over. I am pretty sure that there is something wrong with the air conditioning system plan in the band room, because there is no reason that it should take so long for it to begin cooling off once the temperature control is turned down. I have complained to the repair guys at the college before, but nothing ever seemed to get done about it, however maybe I will just call the commercial heating plus A/C company myself and see if they can come in and check it out. If I have to pay for it, then all of us have to pay for it.
