The Ad Told Us There Was No Central Heat or AC

When a bunch of my best friends and I decided to go vacation in a home in the mountains, I was ecstatic! I hadn’t been on a girls only trip in ages, so the idea of spending a lot of quality time with all of my best people under the same roof brought myself and others a lot of happiness.

Thankfully, there was someone else who was in charge of booking the home and all I needed to do was bring some snack food! The girl who booked us this home sent us all a link to the rental property so the crew of us could get gleeful for where the two of us were staying.

However, in my quick scan of our rental agreement, I noticed that it said there was no central heat or air. I instantaneously sent off a text to the rest of the ground and questioned the lack of heat. They were calling for snowfall during our time there and the thought of being without heat was dreadful. The home wasn’t refundable though, so the two of us made the decision to go and the two of us packed a bunch of winter clothes and blankets. When the two of us arrived though, the owner’s guide said that there was heat or AC available, it was just via a ductless mini split system. Technically, it wasn’t central heat and AC, however it was heat! All of the girls and I were so thankful for this! There were multiple ductless mini split units through the home and the two of us were surprised by how well they heated each area. Every one of us stayed perfectly boiling and cozy warm during our girls trip despite the lack of central heat and air.
