My parents got a divorce after I went to study at university.
Though it had been a long time coming, I knew the cut was inevitable.
They weren’t the type of humans to hide things, so we had had a discussion a week before I left. It was time they went their own separate ways, & my siblings & I agreed. Mom opted to transfer out & live in his rental prosperity. He’d rapidly obtained the apartment a long time ago as an investment, however now it would be our new home. That winter, I left school to go & visit him. It was the best time for both of us until what went down. A few hours later, though, a heating device expert was at our lake apartment to check the concerns with the heater. We both informed him that the furnace was aged & no one had maintained it in some time. There was no working heat in the apartment at that point, so every one of us decided to turn on the portable little HVAC system. Mom had obtained it as a spare, however now it was the best way to heat the drafty room. After conducting a lengthy inspection, the gas heating system expert found fault with the central thermostat. He asked Mom if there had been any wild temperature swings. After such a long time, they system was clogged with dirt & debris, which he had to clean off. The whole heating device repair took several minutes, however the gas heating system worked well when the heating system worker left the house.
