My friends and I went to a concert that was an all-day event. We woke up bright and early in the morning, so we could arrive before anyone else. We decided to take my car, because it has the best gas mileage. We were driving 3 hours to the all day concert event and it didn’t make sense for all of us to drive separately. We all went in my car. The drive to the concert wasn’t terrible, even when the AC stopped working. It was cool and there was a nice breeze outside. We left about 6 in the morning, so we wouldn’t have to sit in traffic that day. I was a little upset about the AC not working, but I had been experiencing problems with the air conditioner a lot. The final break happening on concert day seemed like a cruel joke from the universe. My friends and I spent all day at the concert. We stayed until the last song was played. Traffic was awful at the end of the day and it took 90 minutes just to get out of the parking lot. The ride home was miserable, because we didn’t have any AC still. It was hot, humid, and all of us had a hard time staying awake. I kept splashing water on my face and turning up the radio loud when I felt my eyes get droopy. It would have been nice to have a cool indoor environment for the drive home. It would have helped me stay awake and maintain a faster speed.
