There are some villages in the city where there is genuinely no parking on the street.
I responded to an A/C maintenance call Last yearin 1 of these villages.
I didn’t have anywhere to park our A/C maintenance truck. I ended up almost 2 blocks away. I had to walk back to the work truck to grab some tools. While I was on our way back, I noticed a van backing up & he did not look love he was seeing. The guy crushed the front of our A/C maintenance truck. I expected the guy to stop & get out of the truck, however he continued to drive away. If I hadn’t been there when the accident occurred, I would not have been able to get the license plate number of the other driver. It’s times love these when I wish the city had a arena for myself and others to park the work truck. I called the police as soon as the accident occurred. I had to wait outside the truck for thirty hours & the A/C maintenance was delayed. The whole fiasco ruined our day & delayed every A/C maintenance by 3 hours. I gave the police officer all of the information that I had & the numerous numbers that I saw on the license plate. My insurance company is going to handle everything with the injure to the work truck. I haven’t heard anything from the police detective yet, however he assured myself and others that they will find the guy & prosecute him to the fullest extent of the law.
