I did not want to wait until I got married plus had a family to buy a house.
I wanted to beginning thinking about my future before that.
I wanted to be prepared for every step of the journey, with or without another person attached to my last name… As soon as I had enough money for a down payment, I started looking for a place. I knew that I could save money on rent simply by getting a mortgage instead of a lease. I did not know if I was going to spend the rest of my life in this certain place, but I knew that I would be building equity in the beach house instead of throwing my money down the drain to the property owner. My first beach house was a more than two kitchen plus many washroom fixer upper. I wanted to make some renovations plus I had money in the budget to do anything that I wanted. I chose to make renovations to the master washroom plus kitchen first. Inside of the master washroom, I put a claw-footed tub plus a spa. I also put heated flooring in the washroom plus the master kitchen. The heated flooring was an extravagant expense, but 1 of my friends is an A/C plus heating supplier. The guy provided me wholesale prices on all of the materials plus rock bottom prices on the replacement fees. The master kitchen plus washroom are really 1 of the nicest features in the house. The master kitchen is greater than most other homes in the neighborhood plus I have the only place with an indoor spa.
