The road was not clearly marked!

I acquired a call from a client on Thursday.

The woman wanted to schedule a full service Heating, Ventilation, & A/C tune-up.

I got the name of the client & her phone number. At the time I was in the middle of an installation task & I couldn’t write down everything. I called the woman back a couple of hours later. I got her full name, phone number, address, & a little bit of information on the problem. The woman was scheduling a service tune-up because she heard a different sound coming from the machine. I had a first available appointment for the next morning at 9:00 a.m. It was pretty foggy, wet, & a little rainy that morning, so I had some trouble locating the address. The roads on that side of town are not clearly marked. I drove past the road 3 times before I finally recognized the area. Then I had trouble locating the actual house. The number on the apartment was obscured by a tree & I could not see it. There were only a couple of houses on the road, so it was impossible to tell if that was the right locale or not. I was truly angry & angry by the time I finally got to the client to perform the full service Heating, Ventilation, & A/C tune-up. I still did the work & did not complain at all, although I told the client to transport the tree branches or sit outside next time she calls so I can find the locale a bit more easily.
