I had no great expectations of my wedding being the wedding of the century.
It was to be easy & appealing, & I was having it in our family church.
The two of us planned to have the church free almost a year before it was to occur. My sibling helped me make the arrangements for the reception, & the people I was with and I had all the plans decided on within 6 months of becoming engaged. The day of the wedding was stunningly lovely. It was in the seventies & comfortable. I assumed the minister forget the date when he set up for the Heating & Air Conditioning servicemans to arrive & work on the Heating & Air Conditioning system. It was funny when the people I was with and I heard about the Heating & Air Conditioning servicemans. I laughed & my sibling just shook her head; She said it was a good thing the people I was with and I didn’t have great expectations. The Heating & Air Conditioning company would be installing the Heating & Air Conditioning system the entire time the people I was with and I were having our ceremony. The two of us went to the church & hoped it would not be as noisy as the people I was with and I were expecting. The noise didn’t drown out our vows, however it was enough to keep the audience tittering. Instead of an appealing & reserved wedding service, they interrupted us with shouts & sounds of metal scraping. They were installing the up-to-date HVAC duct, & installing the furnace in the basement, and none of the Heating & Air Conditioning servicemans sat in the church & watched the wedding when they weren’t working. When the people I was with and I were getting ready to go to the reception hall, a single of the Heating & Air Conditioning servicemans came up to me & handed me an envelope. They took donations to deliver us a gift, as a thank you for not get agitated with the noise they were making.
The two of us got married at the church while the Heating repairs were going on
