We really need to get the heating system fixed before the baby comes in a couple of months.
We have been planning for this baby for months now. Well, I guess I should say that I have been planning for this baby for months. My husband has not really been doing that great of a job, if you ask me. He is just one of those guys who is really bad at procrastinating. I think that he is excited about the baby and the fact that she is coming soon, but I think that when he’s stressed out it makes him procrastinate even worse than he usually does. Our furnace unit stopped working at the end of the winter last year and we thought that we would just let it go for a while. I mean, at that point, the weather was heating up and the last thing that we wanted to think about was paying someone to fix our furnace. During the summertime, I only ever think about the air conditioning system in the house. I don’t think about the furnace. Unfortunately for us, we continued to ignore the fact that we didn’t have a furnace throughout the whole summer and into the fall. I kept telling my husband that he needed to get busy on getting the heating system fixed before the baby arrived, but he just kept on ignoring me. That’s the point where we are right now, honestly. We need to get the heating system fixed before she is born, and as of right now, we haven’t even started. Time is flying and the baby is going to be here before we know it.
